“Painting Anna was like shooting a fish in a barrel,” the 84-year-old artist said of his subject. “There was no way I could miss it.” For her part, the British-born Wintour enjoyed the experience. “I couldn’t think of a nicer way to spend the afternoon,” she said. “We talked for two hours while he worked, and I was pleased to see that he used a lot of color, which I adore.”  -ARTINFO
