After the season aired, did it change anything for you as a gallerist? Did it change for you as a guy walking down the street?
As a guy walking down the street, not so much, but honestly the biggest compliment I got was hearing how many contemporary artists I really respect were watching it or were on it. Just to hear that you know, Jeff Koons, Cecily Brown, or Rob Pruitt, who’s on it this season, were following it the first season was a big compliment. I know Jeff was rooting for Abdi because he’s from one town over from where Jeff grew up.
